Best of San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium – Greece 2024| 13.01.2024

Dear friends and colleagues,   We welcome you to the ninth edition of the Best of SABCS-Greece, an aggregation of the most important research in breast cancer presented at the 2023 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS). The SABCS is the premier conference for basic, translational and clinical breast cancer research professionals.It is well known for the presentation and discussion of the latest breast cancer data from all over the world. The Best of SABCS program has been organized specifically for clinicians to experience a condensed version of the most impactful highlights of science and education from the SABCS.   The program review and critically assess practice-changing results of emerging breast cancer research, propose best practices for implementing diagnostic and therapeutic strategies, and close knowledge and clinical practice gaps in the management of patients with breast cancer.   Here are some of the highlights of this year’s Best of SABCS-Greece: • Important new data on breast and lymph node radiation therapy • Updates on important studies in early disease • The evolving landscape of treatment after CDK4/6 inhibitors • Results from promising newer agents in metastatic disease. • Reassuring data on the safety of assisted reproduction and pregnancy after breast cancer.   We look forward to welcoming you in Athens and wish you a fruitful BoSABCS experience.   Faculty of Medicine, School of Health Sciences, University of Thessaly, Larissa, Greece
